‘Back in the day, in my neighbourhood, there was this tree that carried wonderful pink blossom each springtime. My fascination with those blossoms was that these eternally beautiful flowers were only there for a few weeks. But I always longed for them to come back. They symbolise the beginning of a new productive year, as the start of fresh and rich fruit that will be developing soon. Like a new period full of strength and growth.’
