There was this remarkably misty day in Southern Portugal. I took a long and lonesome walk through the beaches and countrysides of 'Tavira', a small village at the Algarve. And meanwhile I was walking, hardly seeing anything but fog, this mystic and unique melody came to my head. In the afternoon I sat on the piano and 'Tavira' came out as a beautiful, modern-classical ballad for Solo Piano.
