The "Pianists of the World" project brings together award-winning Norwegian composer and pianist, John Vegard Schow, with Højsgaard, the Danish pianist and composer residing in Örebro, Sweden (part of the area of Närke). Schow created the initial melody and sent it to Højsgaard, who adapted and performed it on his felt piano. Inspired by the dancing cranes in Sweden and Norway, Højsgaard transformed the melody into a peaceful waltz that invites listeners to dream, focus, and relax. "Crane Dance of Närke" is the 4th piece from the upcoming EP "Pianists of the World," which showcases collaborations with illustrious artists such as Tom Kristiian, Ron Adelaar, Christof R Davis, and Høisgaard. This project exemplifies Schow's commitment to fostering global musical connections and exploring diverse pianistic expressions.
