I think the unpredictable way of how plants can grow, is wonderful representation of how life can take a different direction when you least expected it. A new person in your life, with all their weird little oddities, or maybe the loss of someone who’s very close to you. It’s also the way I like to compose my melodies. When you’re about to see a pattern, the melody goes somewhere else. You feel you’re being fooled for a moment. Like a short freefall. It reminds me that life is makeable, only in tiny ways.
