‘Feelings’ is a piece that was written as an attempt to explore the ever-changing nature of our emotions. Castellano used more scales/'directional melodies' than usual in this piece to really capture how feelings can go up and down, just like the water flowing in a river, constantly changing shape, moving smoothly at times, and rushing at others.
