My mum loves a good memory from the photo book, in particular the ones of myself looking as cheeky as ever and up to no good. There’s something so innocent about that child-like curiosity in all of us, and it’s something I never want to lose. This song is inspired by those nostalgic moments of old memories captured through the lens of a camera. The melodic phrasing in the piece is playful, with a combination of dissonant and consonant harmonies that make up the left hand accompaniment.
