Luke Faulkner, a pianist and composer from Shropshire, England, is known for his compositions for solo piano and collaborations with string players. His music combines Classical forms with a calmness influenced by postminimalism and acoustic film music. He draws inspiration from contemporary composers like Yann Tiersen, Alexandre Desplat, Ludovico Einaudi, Ólafur Arnalds, and Max Richter. As a Classical pianist, he has recorded numerous albums and EPs, and in December 2022, three of his albums were in the Billboard Top 10 for Traditional Classical Albums.
